The AAPSS is currently accepting nominations for the 2025 Daniel Patrick Moynihan Prize. Each year, the prize honors a social scientist, public official, or civic leader who champions the use of informed judgment to advance the public good. The winner will then deliver the Daniel Patrick Moynihan Lecture on Social Science and Public Policy in Washington, DC, on a topic of their choosing.

In order to be considered for the 2025 prize, nominations must be submitted by November 1, 2024. Nominations submitted after this date will be considered for the 2026 prize.
