Strategies to Enhance Pediatric Health Research Funded by NIH
| A National Academies consensus study committee will host a public webinar on improving pediatric research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The webinar will highlight the NIH’s pediatric research portfolio and structure, and explore opportunities to build child health research support. Discussions will include the categorization of pediatric research, the inclusion of pediatric components in larger NIH initiatives, and the structural or process barriers that pediatric research applicants face. The event will also provide insights on how NIH can support and expand research that addresses the unique health needs of children.
