The climate crisis: health and gender in focus
The intersections of gender justice, health equity, and the climate crisis are critical yet often overlooked and under-funded aspects of sustainable development. Integrating sexual and reproductive health into climate adaptation policies is necessary to promote health equity and resilient communities. However, achieving the global commitments to gender equity and women’s health will require smarter, climate-informed investments.
Hosted by Panorama Global, Population Council, Global Climate and Health Alliance, and Global Health Council, this event presents an opportunity for participants to:
- Engage with experts who are advancing the latest climate and health evidence.
- Explore messaging for moving climate policies toward gender and health equity.
- Recommend actions toward COP29 and beyond.
